How to Compare Credit Report Monitoring Services
|
|
When comparing credit monitoring services you want to make sure that you
check the same information for EACH company you are considering. The
easiest way to do this is to make a list of the features that are important to
you. Then, as you do your research, mark how each credit monitoring offer
measures up to the others.
To get you started, we have compared the credit monitoring services that are
provided by each of the three national credit reporting bureaus.

| Notes |
Website is very easy to understand and even has
a "Learn more..." link that really spells everything out for you including
instructions on how to cancel TransUnion's credit monitoring. |
Website is slightly confusing. A credit
monitoring trial of some sort is mentioned in the small print, but it is
unclear how long the trial is and what Equifax products it applies to. |
Website is very confusing and, in our opinion,
lacks enough information to adequately compare Experian's credit monitoring
service to TransUnion or Equifax. |
